I Painted Your Smile To The Colour Of The Sky

"I Painted Your Smile to the Color of the Sky" is a short film created as a senior project for the Media and Communication program at MUIC. I worked as the Art Director, responsible for designing the set, crafting props, and creating original artwork.

Synopsis:
Atit, a hardworking boy from a lower-middle-class family, and Kiree, a talented boy from a wealthy family, compete for an art school scholarship in Italy. Atit envies Kiree, believing he doesn’t need the scholarship since he can afford the school. In the end, Kiree gives up his chance and helps Atit win instead.

As they spend time together, their friendship grows into something more, but they are separated when Atit leaves for college. When Atit returns, they reconnect, only for him to discover that Kiree is suffering from a fatal illness. Since same-sex marriage is not legal, Kiree’s last gift to Atit is his artwork, leaving behind a love that society could not recognize.
